My favourite movie in the 80s is Footloose. The movie is a classic tale about teen rebellion and features many dance choreography and great songs. My favourite actress, Sarah Jessica Parker was one of the actress in Footloose :) I watched this movie when I was a teenager and was so taken by those dance moves that I bought myself a cassette tape of the soundtrack and practice the dance steps at home. It sure was a lot of fun. Whenever I hear any of the songs from the Footloose soundtrack today such as "Let's Hear It For The Boys", I will be teleported back into the 80's and remember all the fun and crazy time I had when I was a teenager.
Another classic 80s movie is WarGames, a cyber thriller featuring Matthew Broderick. In this movie, Broderick starred as a hacker who accidentally starts the countdown to World War III. If you were a fan of WarGames, do not forget to catch its return to the big screen this July 24th, in celebration of its 25th Anniversary.
